easy to mount and fit perfectly
I like the concept but not the mounting. I can’t get it tight enough to prevent it from moving. The screws have been tightened down to the point that I’m scared of breaking them. I probably won’t use it.
Great accessory to keep carpet or deck material a bit cleaner when entering the boat. Would be a better value if the mounting assembly had more angle options and a more secure way of attachment other than a clamp style.
The red coating is really nice and the bristles seem very sturdy. Mine came with different mounting hardware. The one pictured on the website looks to be a quick connect, which seems it would be easy to steal. Mine has two Vee shaped aluminum blocks and two lengths of SS bolts, which I think will be more theft proof. I have a Tracker ProTeam 195 TXW and the grab bar w/ step is mounted to the bow stop about 1.5 - 2 feet high above the tongue and would be useless to mount that high. I'm gonna have to make a bolt on pipe/plate assembly to mount to the tongue with U-bolts, then mount the brush to it. Just be sure before you buy one that you have a grab bar mounted ON the tongue.
I worked with Dave on a transom saver. He was extremely helpful and I received the product very quickly. It works great the quality is heads and shoulders above the other on the market. Spot on. My new go to group for accessories.
